Well, it's finally here... NPS codename Obsidian, Alpha 2.
This version should have been released months ago, but I ran into various problems and ended up not having enough time to complete it. But that's all in the past now. Alpha 2 is available, and it's just waiting for you to click that "download" button.
Alpha 2 finally fixes that nasty half-pixel offset bug, among other things; its most notable improvements are the brand-new welcome screen, the beginnings of a new help system, Obsidian Extension Model support for filters, and even a sample extension (which is available as a separate download).
I sincerely thank everyone who helped make NPS possible. And remember... a program is only as good as its user base. The more feedback you give me about NPS, the better it will get. Even if you don't have much of a need for NPS, I encourage you to download it just for the heck of it.
So what are you waiting for? Download NPS Obsidian Alpha 2, and if you're even slightly interested in developing your own filter for NPS, don't forget to download the NPS Obsidian Filter Template.
